I started the morning doing laundry with no plans of shopping or looking at coupons today. As I poured the detergent into the washing machine I realized I was running low on detergent, and where does my mind go? Yes! To coupons! I wondered what I had… So, I looked at southernsaver.com to see if there was a good deal and the madness began. I was so excited at how many coupons I had, I was actually shaking! There is a big sale this week on Kimberley Clark items, there are booklets at Publix behind the customer service desk (which my husband so wonderfully picked up for me yesterday) as well as in the paper from last week (I think) So, saying all that, my purchase today ended up being (drumroll, please!) :
Worth $121.67, paid $22.30, saved $99.37! Since January 1, I have already saved my family $370.07!
Hey! I recognize that yogurt! 🙂
Really nice savings there… 82% That’s great!! Best I have managed this year so far was 73% and I bought less.
Glad we (my wife and I) bumped into you at Publix, yesterday. It’s nice when you can chat with a fellow Couponer.
Folks, Miss ILC (ilovecouponing) here is on the money when she tells you that she can help you save on your grocery bill! She is awesome!
Take Care, Hope to See You Again Shopping those Deals,
Quiet Bob and his Missus
Thanks Quiet Bob! It was great meeting you guys too. I’m sure we’ll bump into each other again! Happy Couponing!
Hey there I noticed you had whisk and all in your photo how much did you pay for those.I am trying to figure out how to do the coupons. My husband seems to think it is more trouble than it is worth.i have not figured out how to do it yet.Any suggestions would be great. thanks
I got the Wisk for $2.49. It is normally $10.99, but is on sale this week for $4.49. I had a $2 off coupon that was in the paper last week. My husband was skeptical at first too, but the first time I brought home a receipt where I saved more than I spent, he was hooked on couponing! Now, he picks coupons up for me! It takes time to start saving a lot of money, but if you stick with it and take time figuring out your store and coupons, you and he will see that it is worrth the trouble! Check out the section “How To Coupon” on my blog to get you started. I will also be teaching some classes in the next few weeks if you would like to attend. Check back every now and then for dates and times! Let me know if you have any more questions! Happy Couponing!
